The Coronado Tourism Improvement District (CTID) has released a free mobile app for iPhone and Android smartphones so visitors can discover fun places to eat, shop, sleep and go in Coronado!  San Diego’s enchanted island is a walking paradise, with one-of-a-kind boutiques, restaurants for every appetite and photo opportunities nearly every block. With the official Visit Coronado app, visitors can use their device to see what’s nearby and what’s across the island.

“Whether visitors are here for a family vacation, fairy tale wedding, romantic escape or business trip, the app helps them enjoy the #1 beach in America, historic hotels and Coronado’s small-town charm” said CTID Chairman Todd Shallan.  “With our app they won’t miss a thing!”

The free Visit Coronado app features real-time GPS navigation, nearly 1,000 photos, an events calendar, turn-by-turn directions and the ability to share the experience on Facebook, Twitter, text and email.
